Far Cry: Carrier – Part 2 (HD 1080P)

Part 1: www.youtube.com This a run-through of me playing Far Cry. This is nothing more than a technical exercise of what modern computer hardware is capable of. Here are my current specs: Core 2 Duo E6600 (Overclocked from 2.4Ghz to 3.2Ghz) Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme (no fan) 4 GB DDR2 PC2 6400 (4-4-4-12 2T) EVGA 680i SLI motherboard EVGA 9800 GTX+ (GFX) Gigabyte 9600 GT 512MB (Physx) Creative X-Fi Titanium Fatality Pro Western Digital 640GB HDD (Primary) Western Digital 500GB Black HDD (Media drive) OCZ GameXStream 700-watt PSU Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit ASUS MK241H Black 24" LCD Monitor (1920x1200 native) Acer AL2002W 20" LCD Monitor (1680x1050 native) Logitech Z-2300 2.1 speakers I use FRAPS to capture video in game. Far Cry settings: 1280x720 (720P) All settings: Very High (water: Ultra High) AF: 8x AA: 0x Other videos I've made have AA at 4x or 8x Making videos of Far Cry and other older titles is very easy with modern hardware. You can't see it from your side of the video, but while I'm only capturing video @ 30 FPS, without recording video, this game will easily reach into the 200-300 FPS range with the settings I have listed above. This game was originally released in 2004 along with other popular titles such as Doom 3 and Half-Life 2. If you haven't played Half-Life 2 yet, do yourself a favor and buy it. It's cheap and amazingly fun. This game is also cheap and while not as incredible as Half-Life 2, It is incredibly long. I counted some 16 missions, and ...
