should i get the samsung 204b 20.1 inch lcd monitor?

i was looking at a samsung 20.1 inch (model 204b) LCD monitor... should i get it? some people say the colors are off as you get to the edge, colors are weird, etc.. should i still get it though is this normal or wat?

Because I don't want to buy a card that is TOO good (and wasting power and money) for the monitor I'm going to get, Im looking for an nvidia graphics card that can run in full quality (including antialiasing and anisotropic) on a monitor that is 20'' LCD 1680x1050. And I'm planning to play some high quality games (like half life 2, age of empires 3, you know) And I'm thinking I should get SLI, but I don't know.
